The completion of the long-awaited Rajská zahrada train station has come to a close and reduces journey times to the city centre to 13 minutes. With its grand opening on the December 9, 2023. Access to the railway station is facilitated by new footbridges.
Trains now have frequent stops, occurring every 10-15 minutes during rush hours and 15-30 minutes on weekends.
The station serves as a designated stop for all suburban trains, including S2, S3, S9, S22, and S34, that travel from Masaryk Station towards Kolín, Melník, and Milovice.
Platform access is exclusively available via a pedestrian bridge linked to the Hutě neighborhood. The completion of the second segment of the bridge, extending over Chlumecká Street to the Rajská zahrada metro station, is expected in the first quarter of 2024.
